End grain construction means the wood fibres run vertically through the board, creating the striking geometric pattern you see on the surface. It's not just beautiful — end grain is kinder to knife edges, self-healing over time, and exceptionally durable. This board will outlast anything you've ever owned in the kitchen.
This piece pairs the warm, pale tones of European beech with bold walnut borders and fine hard maple accent lines — a combination that is as striking as it is timeless. The generous juice groove keeps your bench clean, and the rubber feet keep the board exactly where you put it.
