The Platter Collection

Sculptural serving boards for the table, the bench, and the wall. Each platter in this collection is hand-shaped from solid hardwood — white oak, black walnut, and more — and finished with food safe beeswax oil to bring out the natural beauty of the grain.

From the flowing arc profiles to the classic rectangular forms, every platter is a considered design object as much as it is a functional piece. Our Ray boards take their sweeping silhouette from the stingrays that glide through the crystal-clear waters of the Mangawhai estuary — fitting, given the name Mangawhai itself translates from Māori as "stream of the stingray." Most platters in the collection feature a finger hole at one end, making them easy to lift, carry, and hang when not in use.
