The Ray Board - Black Walnut

Meet The Ray Board — a handcrafted serving board with the warmth of premium American Black Walnut. Its distinctive sting ray inspired shaped board and sturdy handle make it as practical as it is striking, whether you're sliding a pizza straight from the oven, building a grazing platter, or serving artisan breads at the table.

The shorter handle keeps things nimble and easy to manoeuvre, while the generous board surface gives you plenty of room to work with. This is a board that earns its place on the table.

Please note: as each board is handcrafted individually, dimensions may vary very slightly from piece to piece. This is a natural characteristic of handmade work and part of what makes each board unique.

Timber

American Black Walnut — prized for its rich, dark grain, natural durability, and food-safe properties. Every board is one of a kind; grain pattern and colour will vary.

Finish

Finished with a food-safe mineral oil and beeswax blend, hand-applied to nourish the timber and provide a natural, water-resistant surface. No harsh chemicals, no synthetic coatings.

Construction

Assembled with waterproof, food-safe glue. Built to last and safe for everyday use with food.

Care

  • Hand wash only — do not submerge or place in dishwasher
  • Dry immediately after washing
  • Re-condition periodically with food-safe mineral oil or beeswax to maintain the finish
