Solid American White Oak Bench Seat

Crafted from solid American White Oak, this bench seat combines clean, simple lines with genuine hand-cut joinery — a piece designed to earn a permanent place in your home, whether at the end of a dining table, in an entryway, or as extra seating wherever it's needed.

Every joint is formed using loose tenon construction with non-toxic glue, giving the frame real strength without relying on metal fasteners. The bottom rail is joined with a traditional lap joint — a time-tested technique chosen for the strength and character it adds to the piece.

The warm, straight grain of American White Oak gives this bench a timeless character that suits both classic and contemporary spaces. Each piece is sanded back to a smooth 240 grit and finished with Osmo Poly Wax Oil, giving a soft, durable, low-sheen surface that's easy to maintain and only improves with age.

Every piece is handcrafted in my workshop with careful attention to detail, and built to be a long-term piece of furniture rather than a disposable one.
